About my Family
They say motherhood is a blessing, a miracle and most of all an answered prayer. Thus, it is right to say am more than blessed. Some wise man once said, “A family that prays together stays together,” he was right, but he forgot to say that a family that also plays together, sticks together.
My family is made up of five people; Bobby, Phillip, Jamie, Alice and I. Bobby is my husband of 11 years. He is a slender handsome chap with a magical smile. A romantic who up to now has not lost his sense of romance. To the kids, he is a great father who they look up to and confides in. In the present age, parents especially fathers are too busy for their kids. They don’t recall their kids’ birthdays, they don’t go to watch their kids’ games and do not even spend time with them. However, Bobby is the total opposite of that. He puts his kids’ first, makes them feel loved and appreciated and most of all, reminds them that whether they lose or win in a game or contest, he will always be proud of them.
Phillip is 10 years old while Jamie is 7 and Alice is 3. Phillip is short and petite but also the geek of the family. To him, math’s is just but a game of numbers. Jamie, on the other hand, is still battling with the thought of having to attend school 5 days in a week. However, he is good at spelling and is also a fan of basketball despite his tender age. Alice is still learning how to talk. Her favorite word is dad. She is the perfect illustration of ‘unlike terms attract’ since her father means the world to her (Am not complaining). Phillip and Jamie’s favorite meal is pancakes and mango juice while their favorite day is Sunday since it is the day meant for outings as a family.
My family is my greatest blessing.
